The MCC diploma in University Studies program leading to a Bachelor of Arts provides courses that allow a student to complete the first two years of a Bachelor of Arts degree. While this Diploma program is modeled to fit the University of Alberta B.A. degree requirements, specific arrangements can be made to plan a schedule around transferability to any University and many colleges in Alberta.
Students may select two different specializations in the BA Diploma program:
B.A. (General)
B.A. (Native Studies)
Both majors of the BA diploma program require 36 credits of required courses. The requirements for both programs are listed below.

Drama 1500 or Indg 2260
Two of the following streams
1. Anthopology (Anthr 1500, Anthr 1550, Anthr 2207)
2. Sociology (Soci 1500, 2525, and 2560)
3. Psychology (Psyc 1500, 1501, and 2241)
4. Economics (Econ 1501, Econ 1502, Stat 1500)
5. Indigenous Studies (RSVR 1900, Indg 2210, Indg 2211)
Required Courses:
Diploma in University Studies - BA (Native Studies)

Indg 2210
Indg 2211
Comp 2502 or Earth 1500
Drama 1500 or Indg 2260
Cree 1000
One of the general arts streams listed above.
All courses offered at the college may be used to
fill the remaining 24 optional credits except when
noted.
